Business Development Consultant

Our Client is Ireland’s largest independent energy company. They are a fast moving business selling gas and electricity in the 32 Counties. Energia currently supply over 70,000 business customers in Southern Ireland.

In order for them to continue their expansion plans they now have an exciting opportunity through their Dealer Partner NK Communications for experienced Business to Business Sales Consultants to help promote their brand and develop and deliver new customers within the SME / Business Sector.

  • As a Business to Business Development Consultant you will actively approach and engage with a range of customers to generate leads and sell their commercial gas and electricity products
  • Confidence and excellent communication skills are essential as you will be positively and proactively approaching new customers to build rapport quickly.
  • You will be offering a consultative sell whereby you sell on the benefits of switching to Energia.
  • You will demonstrate your sales skills with the ability to handle objections confidently and close sales on site.
  • You will be results and target driven, self-motivated with the ability to use your own initiative.
  • You will be working in a fast-moving environment and will enjoy the opportunity to drive our business forward and your personal development.

Desired skills and experience:

Our client is an extremely ethical business and are looking for Business Consultants that shares their values and will deliver a great customer experience.

It is essential that you have previous sales experience working in one of the following:

  • field sales executive,
  • field sales consultant,
  • field account manager,
  • field sales representative,
  • events sales executive,
  • new business executive,
  • B2C sales executive,
  • Door to Door sales,
  • business development executive,
  • sales rep,
  • direct sales executive,
  • field sales advisor.

> Experience within the energy sector would be an advantage however; it is not essential as full training will be provided!
